Random happenings

These pictures can't just hide out in their picture folder on the computer any longer.  I have to share because, well, these are my two favorite people and they are just too cute.

Can you guess what we talked about at our Family Home Evening a few weeks ago?

Alayna still prefers to call herself a prince, but  we'll pretend there is both a prince and a princess in this picture and the princess is NOT Dan.  :)

My exercising helper.  She LOVES to exercise with me.  But on this particular day she even asked for me to put in an exercise video after I had exercised, just so she could do it all by herself.

 These are "her" weights.  Perfect for a little three-year-old wanna be exerciser. 

See?  Too cute not to share.  Huh?

And I am putting her to work.

Just look at how good she is at folding the towels.

Now if I could just get to her to fold the rest of the laundry, then we'd be in business.

We will miss you (and the fact that I can easily find my car).

My heart was more than a little sad to see you go. 

Because I didn't know how

to get the pictures off my cell phone 'til, 'um, five days ago (ridiculous I know.  But you can't get embarrassed on your own blog, right?).....I have 3 years worth of pictures that you haven't seen.

I'm in trouble

I just discovered this morning that Alayna can now open doors.

Great. (read in a sarcastic tone)

Now how am I going to keep her out of things?

Looks like we may have to invest in those child proof thingys that go on the door knob.

I so don't want to, but it might just be a necessity.
